mother's day

we spent this weekend celebrating our two mothers - and thinking of how rich we are to have them.  to have either of our moms would make us incredibly blessed - but instead, we have both.  they pray for us, take interest in us, support us, love us, love each other.

one year into marriage, and it was clear at both celebrations that our mothers view the spouse as much their child as the child they raised.  we are rich and blessed by these women!!!!

birthdays!

this past weekend, mike and i had a lovely birthday adventure - hopefully, at some point, i'll post pictures!  but brief overview of our roadtrip:

- view of pittsburg from a park above city
- football hall of fame
- visit great lakes brewery in cleveland
- fitzgerald's bed and breakfast
- visit a couple of ohio wineries, and one brewery
- enjoy painesville, oh local restaurants

it was soooo much fun!!!!!

and today is mike's actual birthday!!!!  happy birthday to my own dear love - i still cannot believe some days that you are my husband, that we get to keep each other the rest of our lives!  i love you so fiercely, respect you so much, get so frustrated by you, learn from you, am challenged by you, and know more of the gospel because of you.
